You just make other PS3 fans look bad.
You obviously don't own an Xbox360, so your opinion is based on second hand information.
If you did BY CHANCE happen to own an Xbox360, you are really missing out.
The Xbox360 has some great games, and many of the multi-platform titles look and play better on the Xbox360 than the PS3.
ANd just because you don't have to spend $500 to get an Xbox360 does't mean it's a "cheap rip off".
IN fact, many feel that the...
Yes, the PS3 is an exceptional value if you are seeking a Blu Ray player / Game console... But many videophyles aren't going to go with a game console that has a mediocre remote to stack in their multimedia cabinet...
I am absolutely thrilled with the quality of the console and the crisp visuals I get from upscaled DVDs and Blu Ray movies.
@theAceh below-
Most hardcore home entertainment entheusiasts will probably opt for a good universal remote from Harmo...
This game is like the Yin to Geometry Wars' Yang.
It's a nice dynamice yet strategic mini shooter.
The best thing about these games is the simple, fun design that you can sit down and play for 10 minutes, then get back to being a productive member of society.
I'm guessing that tomorrow will be the 25th birthday of the digital titties, and the digital butt, and the digital wang...

How about some LIFE FORCE...
That was one of the best early co-op enabled side scrolling flight/shooters.
And because it was Konami... Up, Up, Down, Down... You know what I'm sayin'
Aegis Wing is nice because it's free, but it doesn't present a real challenge when playing co-op, even on INSANE difficulty.
I also played the demo. It's fun, but for the more regular rally racing fan, I think you;ll find more enjoyment in Dirt. It FEELS more like a trip down a country road than a blast around a track.
That's what Rally is... These guys blast down some of the tightest, bumpiest roads in the world, and it's not always in their control.
I feel like Sega Rally is a bit too controlled, if that makes sense.
Part of Rally racing is knowing how to control when you can, and c...
I hope it this is an accurate forecast.
I love my Xbox360, and it has definitely pulled it's entertainment weight for the past 2 years (almost).
But, for the extra cost, and thus far lack of substantial games, the average PS3 owner is a bit disappointed that they haven't been able to get more high quality "next gen" gaming out of their console.
We ALL know that the PS3 sports a bit of a technological edge, whether the blindly loyal Xbox fanatics want to ...
@ ReBurn- I don't think Bill Gates as looking at this PC as an opportunity to expand the Microsoft market share.
He is simply stating that a PC isn't worth much if it isn't ocmpatible with most of today's software. Someone will be happy they got a computer for so cheap until they find out they can't do the tings with it that they had hoped.
Being able to run WINDOWS is something that most people just ASSUME is a feature of their PC.
Not being able to run WINDOWS is a rea...
But when you tag something as the "$100" whatever, there is an expectation that is set.
$100 (or more like $99.99) is a very affordable amount to spend by today's standards on most items for Americans without them being considered a "big purchase". Once something crests the $100 mark, people start to get turned off and feel compelled to check their bank balances before dropping the cash.
So, when you go from $100 to $188, you shut out a LARGE portion...
If someone says that MGS has a great story, did you even finish MGS2!? That game had the most nonsene ridden dialogue I've ever had to endure in a video game. (See attached videos)
The game totally rips you out of the storyline by reminding you that you are playing a video game.
The insane babble of your cohorts over your radio is nothing buy annoying jibberish.
They even go into details about being a "North american web worm in my former life".
MGS2 was...
The game is fantastic.
I had the game for over a month before I ever played online. The single player mode is just a blast to play.
I think Codemasters show a nice bit of humanity in their statement. It doesn't feel generic our templated. It sounds like well thought and sincere statement.
The demo is fun. It will be a fun game to play head to head multiplayer in, but I don't feel like it's as solid as DIRT was. I just finished playing dirt. 975 out of 1000 achievements (I refuse to drive "in excess of 1000 miles" just for 25 achievement points.
The game was amazing though.
The graphics in DIRT were considerably better than Sega Rally
So if Shigaru Miyamoto were to die, that wouldn't be newsworthy on this site either?? I'm not directing this at the above.. I'm just having a hard time figuring out what's wrong with some people. The anonmymity of the internet bears it's dark side again.
Some people...
This line from the writer of the article
"After all, as simple as Pac-Man was, you have to wonder if a game based on playing in a darkened room munching pills, running from ghosts and listening to repetitive music..."
This is ripped directly from a T-shirt I saw about 10 years ago in a Spencer's gifts. So don't think this guy is as clever or witty as he may think he is. He's a plagarist!
Here's a link to one site selling the shirt. An...
While I do agree that the visuals didn't look much improved over the PS3 port of NGS, it looked very smooth, the video was at fairly low resolution, and the game has at least 3-4 months left for developement. Judging by how many levels they have, and the very minimal amount of glitches I noticed in the demo, I'm guessing they have been more focused on the technical gameplay aspects than the polishing of graphics up to this point.
I expect the final built to be even prettier.
Unfortunately, I don't see anything in the PS3s 2 month future that will make its numbers much better.
In two months, the Xbox360 will be in full HALO mode, and consoles WILL be moving.
I say this because I know of at least 3 people that were "waiting for Halo 3" before buying an Xbox360 becuase they've been playing Halo 2 on XBOX LIVE since it was released.
Halo 3 will move consoles- period
With all of the great independant content on the internet (Line Rider anyone?)
An open forum for games is bound to yield some very creative games
Were you part of the first wave, or did you just receive the invite?
Since the iPhone reads your account information from a SIM card, the only way you will be able to import a cellular service account over to the iPhone would be by physically transferring a SIM card.
Anyhow... If you thought 1M iPhones sold was a big deal... watch the sales climb once this goes mainstream.
Sure, Apple will "ACT" upset... But they'll be getting too much money to REALLY care.
The Orange box is already a crazy value. Now this!? How can a gamer refuse?
